Honourable Mention & Second Prize
We earned these distinctions from among more than 1,900 teams in our age category, comprising approximately 5,000 students. We qualified for the national stage by achieving the maximum score in the regional stage two years in a row. At the national stage, we analyzed a complex dataset and presented a comprehensive statistical analysis, based on the specific criteria required. In 2026, we qualified for the international stage, where we had the opportunity to represent Romania by showcasing our country’s statistical characteristics through an interactive video. In the same context, we also had the honor of receiving an award from the National Institute of Statistics for the distinction we brought to our country.
